For The past 30 years, Sahir House has been providing vital support to people living with & affected by HIV. Sahir House aims to continue to provide good quality support through times of austerity. Due to a 25% reduction in funding streams this may result in temporary reduced levels of support or service provision during this period & we may be unable to respond at our usual levels. Please be aware this may affect response times & some changes in staff hours.

Support services for people living with HIV
As support staff will have reduced availability, we will be looking at concentrating our outreach services to those with the most urgent needs. All HIV positive people using Sahir House are encouraged to attend Sahir House for appointments such as welfare rights, advice & guidance, counselling, therapies, etc. Appointments times will be advertised in the New Year.

If service users come to Sahir House outside of these times, they may not be seen.

We hope these changes will be temporary & welcome any feedback from service users & external partners & stakeholders that will help us raise funds so that they can reach those with the most urgent needs for those living with HIV.

Sahir House welcomes your support in playing your part in continuing high quality support for the local HIV community, ways to support include:

  • To text donate £3 – Sahir 70660
  • Hold a fundraiser for Sahir House
  • Host a red ribbon collection
  • Write in with letters of support in how valuable you find Sahir House services
  • Wear your red ribbon with pride all year round
