Sahir House Support Service is for people living with and affected by HIV in Merseyside. You can self-refer or be referred via a health and social care provider. All support is confidential and after an assessment with a case worker they will direct you to the support to help you live well, informed and independently with HIV.
Sahir House and COVID-19
At present, we are still working with an appointment only system for those service users that need to see us in person – this also includes counselling appointments. We are still looking at how we may re start face to face support groups in the future but, as you can imagine, this is proving difficult with the confusing messages regarding the COVID situation.
If you are attending Sahir House at Dale Street we are asking that you:
- Do not attend any appointments if you feel unwell.
- Respect others choices but consider the risk to yourself and others if you are not vaccinated and haven’t had recent Covid tests.
- Maintain good hand hygiene using the sanitisers around the building.
- Think about social distancing and wiping any surfaces you may have touched.
- Wear a mask if that is part of your usual routine.
We all hope that things will become clearer in the future but, at present, we are trying to adapt to the changes as they happen in order to keep us all safe.
