Sahir House Support Service is for people living with and affected by HIV in Merseyside.  You can self-refer or be referred via a health and social care provider. All support is confidential and after an assessment with a case worker they will direct you to the support to help you live well, informed and independently with HIV.

Changes to Sahir House Service delivery
At the time of writing we are all still working at home and not in the office during the Coronavirus emergency and following Government guidelines. We are doing our very best to maintain normal service delivery to you all during these strange and difficult times.
We are discussing our eventual return to Dale Street and, when it is safe to do this, we will of course let you know the details when the time comes.
With a staff member on maternity leave means we may take longer to get back to you as we prioritise the most urgent issues and that you may not always be working with your usual case worker so please be patient with us during this time.
The funding which provided our outreach project has now finished and, with reduced resources and going forward as things get back to normal, we will no longer be able to continue with home visits or accompany you to clinic and other appointments except in urgent circumstances – we will still provide outreach sessions at the hospitals we visit where we are contracted to do this when it is safe for these sessions to resume.
When we are back in the building and guidelines/risk assessment allows, we will be operating a strict appointment system so that we can guarantee that we can help you in a way that is fair to all.
At present, we will no longer be able to assist with benefit forms but will help you to find someone who will by referral to other welfare agencies that we have links with.
With all issues we will always do our very best to get you the help you need and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding during the months ahead.
