Counselling & Psychotherapy
Counselling and psychotherapy provides the opportunity to talk about concerns in a safe and confidential setting. The counsellor will listen and help explore your situation. Counselling can empower you to make your own choices and decisions that help emotional and psychological wellbeing.
Counselling and psychotherapy can assist in a variety of circumstances from relationship problems, bereavement, low self-esteem, isolation and coming to terms with HIV. Counselling can also support with post-traumatic stress disorder associated with a HIV positive diagnosis.
The counsellors are fully qualified, members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and trained in safeguarding procedures and mental health first aid training. Donna Jackson and Lucy Martin are BACP senior accredited counsellors.
