World AIDS Day Vigil

Each year, Sahir hosts Liverpool’s World AIDS Day Vigil to honour those living with HIV in our community and to remember those loved and lost to HIV related illness. This year’s vigil will be held in Liverpool Parish Church hosted by The Revd Canon, Dr. Crispin Pailing. You are warmly invited to join us for an intimate evening where people will be sharing memories of their loved ones along with poetry readings and music from Choir With No Name.


Wirral World AIDS Day Memorial Gathering

Sahir would like to warmly invite you to come along to our Wirral World AIDS Day Memorial Gathering at Open Door Charity to remember those loved and lost to HIV related illness in our community and to honour those living with HIV today.  The event will include a presentation on current HIV information including new key messages and statistics; time for reflection to honour the lives of those lost to HIV related illness; poetry readings and shared stories. If you would like to share a poem or story, please contact our Wirral HIV Lead, Kathleen Charters on 078035 410 035, so she can allocate you a time slot.
